We’ve all been taught that men should be the one to treat women to their meals. I mean, if you’re a man and can’t take care of the bill, are you really a man? At least this is what we were told to think. With the rise of independence, where do we stand on this conflict?

These days, the internet has made it possible to connect with individuals who live in other countries – people you would never normally have been able to meet.  With this possibility comes many advantages, like dating Russian women. Some American men have found that Russian women suit their tastes much more closely than American women do.

The cultural history of Russia is rich. The origins of Russia can be dated back to the 9th century with the establishment of the first Eastern European state, Kievan Rus. The lands became populated by the Slavs and Vikings. It was influenced by the Greeks and invaded by the Mongols.  The land was governed by powerful rulers and went through many revolutions. All of these influences made Russia and other Eastern European countries the way that it is today.
